Have the previous edition of that book (was titled Twentieth-Century Speeches, with JFK on the cover) and, much like Time's Man of the Year award, the intention was to record the most influential speeches of the last 100 years, duly passing comment on the orators. Thus Enoch Powell and Mosley are included, as while noxious, few would argue that "Rivers of Blood" didn't impact on the political narrative of the era.

On a not dissimilar note, the best-selling children's book Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls has come in for some criticism recently. It profiles 100 female role models but the publishers have been pressurised to withdraw the biography of Aung San Suu Kyi in their next edition.
