Things you say in Homer Simpson's voice

When ordering a pint of cider (nearly always for someone else) and they ask me if I want the purple one, after declining I say "Purple, purple's a fruit".

On my bus journeys to work I often see parked outside a chip-shop a lorry delivering potatoes, and say (to myself) "Potato man" in a cod Irish accent.

When I lived in Sydney, I couldn't pass Flinders Street, without saying a dismissive "Flin-ders …"

      "Mmmmmm.... [whatever]"

While living in Gent I had a "stupid Flanders" phase.

      "Nucular. It's pronounced 'nucular'."

          "...learned, Pepe..."

And of course, "yoink" whenever you grab the last of something / something free.

This. Although sometimes I opt for "Ah, [whatever]" in the style of Chief Bromden's "Ah, Juicy Fruit". Trouble is almost no one knows what I'm on about.

Also, "I can't wait until they throw his hatless butt in jail," not that the opportunity arises very often.

"Call Mr. Plow, that's my name, that name again is Mr. Plow."

Which I see is almost exactly 25 years old first aired on November 19, 1992.

                        I feel old

                          Good call on Mister Plow.

I also do the "Mmmmmmmm, [insert thing here, often something disgusting]" thing.

"Hey, look at this country! You are gay!!" (Whenever Uruguay is mentioned)

I also do a Monty Burns-esque "Excellent!" sometimes.

When I eat something peppery "mmm incapacitating " I've also used Homers quote "people are stupid, that's why everyone does everything "

The collective is notably absent from this thread.

Oh yeah, me too. With the appropriate hand gesture too.

                                            Seconded.

                                            Also, "rich creamery butter".

Not by but to Homer, I still can't see a doughnut without thinking of the Little Italy/Godfather episode.

Strangely coincidentally, there was actually a thread on a Simpsons page on Facebook just last night that asked simply (and almost fatally, for Facebook) "What is you favourite Simpsons quote?" Needless to say, the place nearly melted down, as people were posting things faster than the page could refresh. I was literally crying with laughter at all the evoked memories (aided by alcohol, since it was my birthday and I'd just got home from a gig.) The results can be seen on this page if you scroll down a little.

Needless to say, I posted loads of suggestions, since I'd find it almost impossible to decide on a real favourite. However, on average, I think that it may be "Yarrr! I hates the sea and everything in it!"

(edit: Although a close second would be "So... the caterpillar has emerged from its cocoon ...as a shark ...with a gun for a mouth!")

I use the phrase "I, for one, welcome our new [insert relevant description] overlords..." fairly regularly.
