I seriously doubt the whips would formally tell the PM of the latter.
You can hear them all saying, "there goes poor innocent naive TG again." During the cold war MI5 would have been a very keen eye on a lot of MPs who were opening themselves up to blackmail. Aside from having to deal with Ted Heath, Thatcher would have known about Leon Brittan for instance. Hell she would have known quite a bit about Jimmy Saville.

        Plausible deniability?

Are you saying raising the alarm about sexual harassment and abuse is a diversion tactic?

If this sort of thing was the norm, the House of Commons appears to have dealt with sexual abuse in much the way the Catholic Church did

Well are all those tories on the Guido fawkes list sound on Brexit or not?

There's no issue so important that the Tory party won't use it as grist for their infighting. Anyone wanting to address any subject with a degree of seriousness currently has to work around that, disgraceful though it is.

No idea. But genuine complaints about genuine abuse are now being made, so whatever that malevolent apartheid-apologist gossip-cunt Paul Staines is up to, this stuff needs to be taken seriously in its own right. And not regarded as a trivial distraction from The Serious Big Boys' Debate About Brexit

Damn right. I just get super suspicious when I see him involved, particularly when he's only really interested in burning tories though. This sort of carry on crosses all political divides.

Also, it does seem that the Staines list is all about naming and shaming in order to exercise power over perpetrators, rather than bring them to justice, so a completely consensual affair or incident is afforded the same 'shame' status as a rape or sexual assault. Fucked up stuff really, among fucked-up people

Funnily enough, at least two of the three women on the list are "implicated" in consensual stuff, quite possibly all three.

You'll be amazed to hear that.

Actually, it's quite likely even worse than that. One of the women "accused" of a relationship with a work colleague, may be the same relationship she's on wikipedia having since 2010. But hey. Shame.

                              Fallon resigns.

Apparently there are more skeletons in his cupboard.

Fucking Johnson will get away with just about anything. The fucker would probably try to bluff and bumble and quietly threaten his way through a murder rap.

It's a tweet with a picture of Fox and Fallon entitled something like "former disgraced Defence Secretary and former disgraced Defence Secretary"

With the amount of affairs that Johnson has had allegedly I'm sure that he's committed some acts of inappropriate behaviour.

Fallon says something in his letter about not meeting standards the military are expected to meet.
