Jake La Motta has died aged 95.
If there are any Doug Stanhope fans out there, this will bring a tear to the eye for several reasons.

95 for a boxer is like 120 in non-boxer years. He outlived Sugar Ray Robinson by 28 years. But was he mentally lucid all the way to the end?

AFAIK he was still doing stuff on stage, but didn't really have a clue about anything for the last few years.
Stanhope tells a story of being visited by Jake and his much younger missus, who was knocking on herself. Hilarious and sad.

I mean, as lucid as Jake LaMotta ever was.
