River were held to a 1-1 draw by Argentinos Juniors earlier, which leaves Boca as the only team with maximum points in the Argentine top flight.

Following on from Juventus and Napoli, in Sunday's Serie A matches, Benevento lost 2-0 away to Crotone, one of the only sides to have been doing nearly as badly as them. So that's 0/6 now.

Last night:
Walsham le Willows 0 - 1 Felixstowe & Walton United

That's now 12 wins from 12.

(I imagine that Great Yarmouth Town are going to charge right up that table once they've played the six matches that they currently have in hand over some of the leading teams...)

I like that they're next to Saffron Walden Town in the table at the moment. There's a fine pair of original nicknames for those two.
Saffron Walden = The Bloods
Great Yarmouth = The Bloaters
Is there a "The Crips" somewhere? I'm thinking one of the Haverhill teams for local gang rivalry purposes

...or perhaps The Bloaters have a rival firm called The Guppies?

(Actually, didn't The Bloaters do Bloat On?)

It's not the same sport, but I love this stat so I'll keep reposting until it's not true:

The LA Chargers still haven't won since December 1960.

Newport Pagnell Town are now at nine wins from nine in the United Counties League Premier Division, although they needed to come from behind to beat struggling Oadby Town 3-2 yesterday.

Juve come off the list after a draw, with Atalanta battling back from two goals down. But Napoli keep the run going with 21 points from 7 games in Serie A.

But the big news is Felixtowe & Walton United's record has been ended in a rout, as they travelled to Saffron Walden yesterday and the The Bloods beat the leaders 4-0. So F&WU made it to 12 league wins from the off.

Highworth Town (in the ninth tier of the pyramid) have now won their first 13 game of the season (10 away and 3 at home). 39 points

Napoli's win at Roma last night puts them on 8/8.

And we can now say that Benevento are still on the thread: 0/8.

In the Lowland League, Hawick Royal Albert are 0/11 having scored twice in total and conceded 4.5 goals per game.

Still, no-one will be able to take away the fact they are the only team in the world named after another team, named after a boat, named after a bloke who may or may not have had pierced genitals.

The Romanian third tier is good for this kind of thing, as there always seems to be at least one team in each division who don;t have any players or something. There are 5 divisions at that level, and 3 of them contain a zero-pointer.

Serie 4 contains Becicherecu Mic who currently stand on P9 L9 F2 A34 Pts 0
Serie 2 features Victoria Traian who are P10 L10 F4 A51 Pts 0
But leading the way in Serie 1 are Metalosport Galati with the record of P9 L9 F1 A67 Pts 0

(Serie 3 has a club who withdrew without a ball being kicked, and Serie 5's bottom team have a disappointingly good 3 points)

(The club who conceded a goal to Galati in Serie 1 are my local team, who are actually up near the top, yet actually only beat the bottom team 3-1, which is a bit poor)

Twelve.

Juventus beat them 1-2. Closer than you might have expected, and Benevento even took the lead.

Silsden's 100% record is over in the North West Counties League Division One - they lost 1-0 to Holker Old Boys today in their eighteenth game.

Thought Clipstone might end their points drought in the NCEL Premier this week given that they had trips to the teams directly above them, but they lost them both and are now 0/19.

A couple in my neck of the woods are Stewarts & Lloyds, bottom of the United Counties League Division 1 with zero points from 18 games. Their reserves are in the Reserves Division and have one win and 15 losses from 16 games.

There are several 100%ers and 0%ers remaining in the North Bucks & District League, but in Division 2 are Marsh Gibbon Reserves, who’ve lost all their eight league games (scored 5, conceded 54). Their last three league results have been 1-10, 0-7 and 0-12 and along the way they also lost a cup tie 1-15.
