BT Sport are ecstatic - a goal awarded by the video ref. It wasn't worth the delays in play, I feel.

Watched this on a stream with Portuguese commentary - I don't speak Portuguese so was confused as to what was happening for a few seconds, as I'd imagine were the folk who actually went to the game. Very unsure that the outcome is worth the delay, and if the VAR were to be called into action several times in a game I suspect it would rapidly become extremely aggravating.

On the positive side it was good to see Iheanacho sparking, and Silva looks like he'll be a good player when he gets up to speed.

US TV has this habit of showing latest scores, in the top right corner of the screen. But, they will insist on showing final scores in games that didn't happen on the same day, but in the same 'round' of matches (including the league*).

*Just as well the first division games are not taking place in a century when we had weather, and no undersoil.
