Has to be someone with experience of relegation scraps, but not a ridiculously past it manager like Palace appointed. I would forget the Europa League, which always looked like a drain and a hindrance.
Might be a case of a short-term appointment to get out of relegation (Ranieri?) then a long-term rebuilding appointment in the Summer.
