    The all-encompassing TV thread.

Might as well have one for the mundane TV matches.

Toulouse took the lead, and as I type have done it again, at Monaco. 1-2 at the moment. Cracking daisy-cutter by Delort.

Didier Deschamps looks very gaunt. Not because of the football.

I'm at the hairdressers waiting for a trim. Celtic v Hearts is on the TV. It's all Celtic.

Ooh, Hearts have just had a (rather tame) shot.

Watching Sutton vs Leyton Orient. Feels rather surreal watching the O's at National League level.

....and go two up thanks to some shoddy defending.

Poor old E10 Rifle but well done Sutton.

I was going to offer E10 some local pub advice (avoid Sutton like the plague, head to Carshalton - The Hope by Carshalton (not Carshalton Beeches) station is a good, real ale pub), but I'd imagine that he's well on his way back to East London by now.

No final score on so've got the free Sky channel on. Yeovil losing 7-2 at the moment. James Collins has got a hattrick.

Cavani gives PSG the lead at home to Amiens.

                            Crappy game.

Not TV but there's a Twitter account called @FACupFactfile which is very active as it is the Extra Preliminary round. Poachers (Boston Town) were beating Pheasants (Radford) last time I checked.

edit - 2-2. Pheasants showing tenacity.

Only just noticed that Amiens are sponsored by "Intersport". I thought they went bust years ago.

That is encroyable. Although I remembered an Intersport store in Hove.

PSG clinch it with a second by* Pastore.

I think it should be 'from' here, or does 'by' work?

                                      Both work for me

I am watching the Johan Cruijff Schaal (Dutch SuperCup) between Feyenoord and Vitesse.

The stadium features lots of adverts for the Cruyff Foundation, Cruyff Library, Cruyff Classes, etc.

I'll never get the Dutch ij/y. I think they do it to confuse foreigners, in the same way we use Houston Street and the Avenue of the Americas.

I make it one Chelsea loanee starting for Arnhem and four on the bench.

Mukhtar Ali's a permanent transfer, so it's a mere three on the bench, I think.
