RIP. Was never a massive fan, but the Sledge sisters were a classy act - and certainly had greater stage presence than the Pointers.

They probably produced the best Jackson 5 homage - in the shape of Mama Never Told Me - as well.

Very sad news. Along with EWF, Chic and The Pointer Sisters, Sister Sledge were one of those groups whose songs could really make you happy, and dare I say it, make you dance!
