Any views on Alex Lima of Houston Dynamos? Rumours in Japan that he's on his way to the J-League.

Team MVP in 2016, faded pretty badly last year-1 assist total no goals in the 2nd half of the season. What he is being offered seems to be a huge raise from the new contract Houston offered him.

Albuquerque to the USL in 2019.

DCU is chasing a midfielder from Saprissa, Portland a Saprissa defender, and Chicago, God help us, Iker Casillas.

DCU wants to put their reserves in Loudon County with a training facility, build a stadium out there, move the technical staff there and name them Loudon something.

Kekuta Manneh signed in Mexico for Pachuca.

Independiente doubled the price on Ezequiel Barco.

Apart from that, everyone's signing everyone. Even a Libyan.

DCU signs a Venezuelan central midfielder of the non playmaking type, of which we already have about 5. They will also play 2 "home" games (#1 probably at the Soccerplex god help us and #2 at Navy) and about a dozen away before Audi Field opens, one of which is away to RSL in May. Atlanta comes here Labor Day weekend.

LAG re-sign Ashley Cole and Baggio Husidic.

NYRB flat out banned one of their supporters groups for being a-holes, and traded Sacha Kjlestan and $150K of allocation money to Orlando for 2 kids, for whom Orlando has a sell on clause.

Alex ended up at Suwon Bluewings in Korea.

Dallas signed a Swiss defender, Reto Ziegler from Luzern

NASL is saying they won't play in April or May,waiting on the court decision; and Indy Eleven have bailed to join the USL.

Chicago is likely to re-sign pig climber, and have been also linked with Arda Turan.

The Barco to Atlanta saga is now looking like $15M for 70% of his rights, the rest still up in the air.

Canadian championship has finally switched from being a spring tournament to a summer tournament.

                          1st playoff-round: Blainville v. Oakville is 6 & 13 June
                          2nd playoff-round: winner v. Ottawa Fury 20-27 June
Semi-final: Montreal v. Vancouver, TFC vs. 2PR winner, 18-25 July
                          Final: 8-15 August

Assuming TFC wins the semi-final, that means we have 13 games between 14 July and 1 September.
