Saracens 7 Clermont 24 at the break. Saracens had a lot of pressure and turned down kicks at goal. Hopefully they'll regret that.

Clermont neither travel well nor preform in the second half. This game is still alive.

What a try. Raka makes it and then some. Bonus point for Clermont.

Carnage. Again. Fofana scores the fifth try.

Absolutely brilliant at times. The return is next Sunday.

Round 3 sees every England team beaten. Wow.

Bath v Toulon is a really good game so far. 23-18 just after the break and the last two tries (one for each club) have been the result of lovely running from Anthony Watson and Ma’a Nonu respectively.

Did you go? Scarlets got the bonus point win they needed but still have to get at least one more win.

No, didn’t get to the West Country early enough really and also my wife didn’t fancy braving the cold on a supposedly romantic weekend away.

Sean Maitland is extremely lucky to only get a yellow for taking out the man in the air in the very first minute.

Edit: realised that he didn't even get a card when it should have been red. It's the biggest game ever for Andrew Brace but he bottled that.

Penaud and Raka both go off injured with Clermont a score behind. Good match so far.

Will Skelton in the bin now for giving away three needless penalties in a row including a high tackle. He'd got away with other unnecessary stuff too.

Half time, Clermont 12 Saracens 13. Looking forward to the second half.

In the other pool match Dimitri Arhip has the only try for the Ospreys and they lead 11-0.

Earlier Wasps beat La Rochelle to keep their hopes alive, the score was 21-3.

After Munster do the double, should we rename this "The Brexit Thread"?

Richard Hibbard signs for the Dragons as back up and mentor to Elliot Dee, a very interesting signing that. Faletau is strongly rumoured to be heading there too.

WRU and a couple of private investors including the new CEO who took over from Stuart Davies.

Hibbard is 34 and so won't be on a big contract, he's a name like Henson and also with a point to prove.

I didn't realise he was still playing. Quite a player but not at the top level.

L’Equipe reports that Guy Noves and his staff will be sacked on 27 December, with his most likely successor being Jacques Brunel of Bordeaux Begles.

Madness. Surely the coach of either Clermont or La Rochelle could do a great job for France, they have the players and the system to do so.

Unfortunately, neither Franck Azéma (Clermont) or Patrice Collazo (La Rochelle) have been close friends of Bernard Laporte for decades.

Madness at Murrayfield, Edinburgh have a man sent off after six minutes when already 0-7 down in the Scottish Derby but score a 79th minute try in bizarre circumstances (Glasgow just stopped playing while defending a maul on their 5 metre line, as if they heard a whistle) to win 18-17.

That's pretty obvious as they've never had a sniff of the top job. A crying shame as this model of play suits France.
