    Gentlemen's Evening

So it seems Barking are taking an interesting approach to increasing women's involvement in football.

This guy has been mentioned before. I am not sure whether it was Barking or not last time. It was certainly barking.

Yes, found that later - the same guy/girls/show were booked by Farnborough, but the reaction (Clapton ultras seem to have campaigned against it) caused the club to cancel it. Seems Barking did a similar show last year and their chairman doesn't see any problem with it so sounds like this one is going to go ahead.

I went to a Gentleman's Evening/stag night/strip show/sex show at Barking FC in about 1982, so times haven't changed much...

Probably would have slipped under the radar had the Gordon Brasted Memorial Cup game against Clapton not been scheduled for the end of November. Barking have justified it since by saying they have a ladies night with the local version of the Chippendales performing.

Is that a definite? Asking for a friend. *smiley winky thing*

I read a newspaper article in which the chairman said he would consider doing such a 'ladies night', but not that it was something they actually did.

Meanwhile, just down the road in Hornchurch, they are using a different blonde attraction to lure the punters...
