    PrimeraLaLigaBarçaGranadaOchoaBounceola 2016-17

My apologies if there is another La Liga Thread. I asked twice.

After all of those commercials I was subjected to for a tournament he didn't even play a minute in, I will always cherish Pedro Léon's Big Bouncer bouncing over Ochoa's afro today.

The Zizou Crew is off to a great start, and not sure how many times Alaves beat Barça in their history, but today was one of them.

There wasn't one, so muchas gracias.

Valencia got beat again and have nul puntos, only a superior goal difference is keeping them ahead of the similarly god awful Celta. Sampaoli is specializing in getting hammered for the first half hour before mounting a spirited comeback. So far, that has gotten Sevilla to second.

The last time Barcelona lost at home to a newly promoted team, they went on to win la Liga and the Champions League.

What? Three games into the competition and only two posts? That's poor form.

Interesting game in Vigo, where Celta lead 3-0 over Barcelona. 35 minutes gone.

They now boast an aggregate of 7-1 over the past 1.5 home games vs Barca.

Edit: 7-3 - Barca drag it back to 3-2...

Jesus, how did pique get away with a yellow card for that foul? He could have completely destroyed that player.

Iago Aspas, he of the terrible corners, has been a constant thorn in Barcelona's side this evening.

4-3 Celta. That was some game.

If I remember right, he did it last time too.

I was excited to see him in a Liverpool shirt, for precisely those reasons.

                          It didn't work out.
