Groups of people taking the names of individuals - none of whom were band members - from the collection of evilC...

Arnaud Lazlaud was Xavier Paradis, Simon Grenier-Poirier and Gugliemo Testanera

Martin Dupont was Alain Séghir, Beverley Jane Crew, Brigitte Balian and Catherine Loy

Heinz Beauvaix is Flemming Kaspersen and Niels Ronne

John Came was David Baker and Simon Leonard (aka Komputer, Fortran 5, etc.)

Josef K were Paul Haig, David Weddell, Malcolm Ross and Ronnie Torrance

...and I'm assuming (before I look back over the thread fully) that Franz Ferdinand were mentioned long ago.

Oh, and Otto von Schirach really is called Otto von Schirach! I always assumed that was a silly historical name too, but it actually isn't.

Billy Mahonie was Gavin Monk, Hywell Dinsdale (guitars), Kevin Penney (bass) and Howard Monk (drums).

Your life is so improved by knowing that.
