    So, how did you vote?

Following on from the General Election thread we did, iirc, how did you vote? *

I'm guessing that some of us have already voted using a postal vote.

*could we keep this to a simple in or out

Well, if you don't, it's a spoilt paper.

No vote because not at home, not time for a postal vote.

No vote for me, unfortunately; it would have been IN.

Just by a month too long away from the old sod to count. Bollox.

Had to take the day off work and get the train back from Sowerby to Swindon as I didn't realise you had to vote in the constituency you are registered in.

I normally wouldn't have bothered but the leave campaign are such a hideous bunch of cretinous biggots that I am doing it for principle rather than it actually making any difference.

If In wins by one vote, it may just have been worth it.

I am a SNP voter and dearly wish that we had our independence. This has led me to feeling rather hypocritical about voting to leave one union and then voting to stay in another one.

It's not as simple as that, of course, but the feeling still remains.

Then you have the racist element of the Leave campaign. My feelings aside, i am not sure i would like to know i voted the same way as those cunts.

However i have seen ordinary folk brand anyone voting Leave a racist without listening to their reasons. There has been a bit of demonising on that front that has felt uncomfortable.

Anyway i am going to vote remain for purely personal financial reasons. My sharesave at work has just matured and seeing the share price crash on Friday would be very disappointing. When they offered it 3 years ago, i saw an opportunity to double my money. That will come true if Farage, Boris and the rest fail.

Hardly a noble reason for choosing which way to vote but the timing of the vote has coincided with this so i have to consider it.

Will be voting in, some serious nonsense from outer space. People on social media talking utter bollocks like EU to blame for loss of coal/steel industries, high energy prices and getting out will help farmers! Mickey Flanagan is taking some serious shit on his Facebook page for saying he's in, after someone at out claimed he was with them!

Mabel dog and I have just been in. Voted Remain.

Someone with England flags on his car parked in the bus stop outside. I made my assumptions about his voting intention.

First at the polling station, a young chap turned up shortly after...very quiet otherwise.

                                      Remain

I've just voted remain, and so has my wife. I took our baby in so that she could experience the heady thrill of democracy.

I've begged people on facebook to cast a vote for remain on my behalf as I am disenfranchised by being away too long

No idea. It got shared fairly widely, so who knows. I suspect not (I'm pretty sure there are very few leavers in my friend list, but the message was aimed at possible abstainers rather than them)

                                                Honestly, I doubt it

Two other voters at the polling station just now, which is a record in the eight years (is it nine?) I've lived here. One oldish chap approached the tellers saying 'I was gonna say 'bonjour' but that might reveal my hand' which was encouraging.
