I had an idea that it would be fun to have a friendly competition to see who could write the most irritatingly smug and cloying twitter bio about themselves. The catch is that it all has to be technically true.
But did we already do that? I feel like we did but I can't find it. Maybe we didn't.
Does anybody know how to make the Twitter timeline in chronological order, like a timeline should be. It used to be and it no longer is.
Depends on your platform.
On twitter.com:
Log in to your account on twitter.com and go to your Account settings page.
Under Content, look for Timeline and toggle the box next to Show me the best Tweets first to change the setting.
Twitter for iOS:
On your profile, tap the gear icon and select Settings.
Tap the account whose settings you’d like to adjust.
Under Timeline, tap Timeline personalization.
Next to Show me the best Tweets first, tap to turn it off.
Twitter for Android:
Tap the overflow icon
Tap Settings.
Tap Timeline.
Next to Show me the best Tweets first, uncheck the box to turn it off.
If only I had a clue what an "overflow" icon is ...
Nah, some journalist has linked a story to some RWNJ website, and I want to grab it before he deletes it. The journalist concerned works for a local newspaper owned by Shilldon Adelson, AND works for CBS too.
A very useful appendix from Mr Justice Warby on "How Twitter Works" in the approved judgment between Jack Monroe (Claimant) and Katie Hopkins (Defendant)
