I never realised Wellington left the band and made a solo single either. I wonder what caused the split?

I know a chap who, erm, won the favours of a fraulein at a gig in Germany by pretending to be Peter out of off of Peter & The Test Tube Babies.

The Wombles was/ is a nickname for UDA volunteers, which kind of ruins the whole thrust of Mike Batt's musical genius for me.

I was once approached at a Peter and the Test Tube Babies gig by a gentleman who may or may not have been Peter and asked whether I had any drugs going. There was "my name on the guest list" in it for me.

As I'd already paid to get in, I considered it a bum deal. Particularly as I didn't have any drugs on me anyway.
