This does seem to have caused even some of his most loyal meathead supporters to cool their adulation a bit.

two questions. Is this going to stop him from getting a visa to travel to the US, and will they be drug testing him?

He’s been charged with three counts of assault and one of criminal mischief.

He would need convictions to have visa issues and is unlikely to be drug tested because he was bailed immediately

        That said . . .

Drug testing by the police or USADA? Some of the reports from eye witnesses say he and his hangers on all looked coked up. So given the behaviour I imagine the police will. But whether anything will be in his system by then I don't know.

The police. USADA has no jurisdiction here.

He turned himself in and made bail. I don’t see how they would drug test him.

Ah, UFC drug testing here is the hands of the relevant state commission and the UFC itself

Dana White seems genuinely pissed, and one of the guys on the van who was injured evidently has cornea injuries. Yer man is going to get hit with some serious civil suits.

Dana has been making exceptions for him for four fucking years now. Two people who have simultaneously raised the profile of, whilst seriously undermining the credibility of the sport. Fuck the pair of them.

For some reason, I just assumed that the american police drug tested people. Particularly when they were arrested for what looked like a coke fuelled rampage.

You left out "of color" there.

He would likely have been tested if he wasn't bailed and/or hadn't turned himself in.

From a criminal law perspective, it really doesn't matter if he was high or not.

Hmm, so it turns out that he and his pal spent the night in custody (contrary to early reports). That increases the chances that blood was taken, especially as he doesn't seem to have a lawyer.

That said lots of cops were posing for photos with him while he was in custody.

You can’t convict for having coke in your blood in NYC like it’s fucking Sweden or something can you? Surely the visa issues will only arise on his convictions for assault and assholery. Can you be barred for having drugs brought up as evidence in trial rather than a conviction for possession or whatever?

I wish they’d raided his gaff while he was locked up as well. Probably some interesting use of scales going on.

No, though I would ask that you keep that quiet less Jefferson Beauregard Sessions gets an idea.

You can be "barred" for anything (or nothing), and this administration is particularly aggressive in looking for reasons to deny visas (note that denial of a single visa application does not mean that you are barred for life (or even a prescribed period)). But he's white, rich and a hero to millions of MAGA meatheads, so . . .

Assuming that the injury reports are accurate, the civil suits will cost him millions, though.

Theres probably a gofundme page of meatheads and eejits already starting to raise money for the inevitable money losing of their Hero. There seems a definite nexus between loving Yer Man and Peterson worship, at least among the under 30s (and the 40s Trump cunt) in work. And my fuckin flatmate. If these cunts give JP 90000 a month on Patreon fuck knows what they will do for the walking Dominant Hero Archetype, who’s almost as much of a cunt as Achilles.

He's such a gobshite. It's always been obvious that he's a massive gobshite, but this is fucking hilarious.

I suspect that this is what happens when you watch the full length Bad video on loop while coked off your tits.

The subway station in which that video was shot is only a few blocks away from the courtroom where he was arraigned.

Maybe the time has come for Viral social media clips to receive the same sort of first amendment protections as pornography. It would enable such legal defences as "We were doing it for the Bantz" or "We were doing it for the Clicks". why Should Scat porn receive protections that hurling things through bus windows for the craic doesn't. It would allow people like McGregor to carry on doing whatever they want and providing us with top class viral videos. Essentially Conor McGregor is being punished for having the bravery and artistic insight to drag Scorsese kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

I know it's a bit of a stretch, but I feel that things are different in Trump's america, and after all he is really rich. I feel it makes more sense than anything that fuckwit Scalia, or Clarence Tho#metoo have ever said.

I'm virtually certain that Gorsuch would be 100% behind "5 million RTs and you walk free", as long as Kris Kobach was fine with the defendant being able to vote.
