Going back a bit, what exactly does hand cooked actually imply? Someone used their hands to put them in the cooker, and it wasn't done by robots? Seriously I've never known.
Also hand cut. So there is a sweatshop somewhere filled with people with knives chopping all day long, rather than a machine? Is there supposed to be some benefit in that? What does hand cooked and hand cut offer the consumer that machine cut and machine cooked does not?
"Tear soaked" and "blood splattered" should be bought back to reflect the working conditions. Right, kids?
Actually, when I think back to my teens in the region of Bernard Matthews and his avian holocaust, "bully-gutted" would be a refreshing change from "locally reared" or whatever. A bully-gutted chicken, deep-fried and inorganically worried.
