    Forgotten Feuds

I rubbed Nef up the wrong way once with some tired old Wenger cliches (not THAT one you'll be glad to hear, it was the 4th is a trophy/can't do his zip ones).

He then mentioned that he worked in Chester - seems that even when not meeting in person, that cross-border rivalry will rear its head.

Can't remember, but Nef was right about that.

Nah, ugly turn of phrase, I agree, but Nef made himself look/sound like a bit of a t*t over that.

Viz the Blur/Oasis spat, it was mostly the latter but all played up for the press. I can remember seeing Damon and Liam together in a bar sometime in 1998 - and animosity seemed in very short supply. Noel buried the hatchet some while ago. Might even be working with Damon at some point. (You have been warned.)

The most right-on of right-on positions, eh? He'd fit in well here sometimes.

I don't know, CV. I partly think the more 'right-on' your politics the more likely you are to end up sticking up for extremist monsters. CAGE and Jihadi John spring to mind.

I think the important question raised by this thread is "people you would or wouldn't piss on".

                    Richard Hammond? Go.

We can't afford anything more sophisticated, thanks to Yankee's prolonged failure to invest the dollar in our economy. Ruined by sustained terrorism while you sat around on Paddy's Day drinking green Guinness and signing checks to Noraid blah blah

Longer-term readers will recall that pairs of Irish posters are often assumed to be one person (Wind Up Bird and Self, Garse and Banjoslug, Toro and Gonzo, Pulisao and Robbie Keane etc.)

Pissing on people is context-bound. For all I know Hammond might want pissing on, and I'd hate to give him the satisfaction.

NORAID won't take checks; much too easy to trace.

Then again, the kind of establishment that allows the open solicitation of funds for those muppets is almost always an all cash zone to start with.

I can imagine Clarkson pissing on him, and Hammond loving it as if he was in a German porn movie.

The one which he narrates with one eyebrow permanently raised, as if a botox experiment proved the title of the show?

I quite liked Brainiac, but only when Vic Reeves was presenting it.

That's the one. But in his defence, his only job is to react with mock shock at the stupid shit people do and then film.

They're looking for a computerised tool which gives them a similar aesthetic to all those murals, presumably.

yeah, but it's easier if you use the full phrase which is "I wouldn't even piss on him if he were on fire."
