    Rail Seating

We're trying to build a new stand at Bangor City. We (The Supporters' Association - Membership £5 a season, with a badge! - and it's members) have raised over £30,000 towards the cost of it through various activities such as walking to and up places, writing books and releasing CDs. Grants have also been received so we thought everything was ready!! Sadly delays have arisen so the stand hasn't, YET.

After a few re-thinks we decided to invite the FSF's Safe-Standing Roadshow to town and they brought their rail seating a couple of weeks ago.

We got excited that this "unique opportunity" (Someone else's words) could happen. We could have terracing and seating in the same place!!! We could host proper European matches!!! (In the 1st qualifying round obviously), we could hold more U21 internationals!!!! We'd be just like a mini-Westfalenstadion in blue and white!!!

Then we heard the Welsh powers that be intimate that rail seating wasn't really allowed in UEFA or FIFA administered matches these days.

Is the use of rail Seating allowed in UEFA club competitions and internationals? The best evidence I can find is from the FSF website.
