Agreed, longer term trends not looking good for Dave and co (nor indeed for Ed):
A similar issue in NI, although there schools are generally segregated not only on socio-economic lines but by nationality. Recently, the Sinn Fein education minister approved an Irish language medium school with only about 15 pupils.
