        And has just arrived

        I linger and gawp
When the council dig a big hole
And I cheer for a corner
        I don't know why
They rarely lead to a goal.

Have to say that the standards of the excellent 90 Bisodol (Crimond) have been maintained on Urge For Offal.

Not as immediately catchy as Bisodol for me, but daresay it'll be a grower. I like the title tune.

I've got TLMG on the lookout for a copy in the West End - as I shamefully forgot to pre-order - and now I feel like I'm missing out.

Yeah, I'm very much into the physical object though, Luddite that I am.

TLMG has come up trumps, getting me the only copy in HMV Oxford Street.

Any album which contains the rhyming couplet

For you I’d lose my self-esteem
For Crewe I’d use Junction 16

                    is just wonderful.

And I suspect I'm going to spend tomorrow at work quietly singing the chorus to 'The Unfortunate Gwatkin' under my breath.

                      This One’s For Now

I’ll fit you in some day, somehow
A thousand words but not right now
I’ve got a few lines on Gerry Gow
I had three in one packet in ’78
I went back to the shop in a manner irate
Newsagent said: “Have you got a two pence piece?”
                      I said: “Yes”
He said: “Go and ring someone who cares”

Listened to this a couple of times now, and I like it. I'd definitely echo the sentiments about it being less immediately accessible that 90 Bisodol, but it's no bad thing.

'Midge Ure looks like a milk thief' drew an audible snort of amusement on the bus the other morning. Got a couple of funny looks.
