Yeah, see I can't tell if this is a gag or not. My first thought was "another Study of the Theology of the Genevan Academy at the Time of the Synod of Dort?", but that wasn't being fair.

A lame gag indeed. The author (sometime dean of Geneva Cathedral) is my distantly-related namesake.

Another runs an ski-lodge in BC if you're ever there on vacation.

I read that at first as 'Challenging The Boundaries of Symbolic Copulation'. I'd definitely have paid 140 quid for that.

I can't understand why these two were forgotten about. To be honest, I can't understand why the first one was ever available in the first place.

I can also offer a collection of short stories entitled "Als Zahnpasta", but there's only one copy of that and I don't own it.

That was me, Mat. Not that I wrote it, but I produced/curated a lot of the images for it. I'm flattered that anyone's included it amongst the real books by people who can write.

And I was astonished to get £500 in outstanding US/Aussie photocopying rights last year, so somebody has read it.

Thanks for including me in this list. I also have a second book called Recording Culture: Audio Documentary and the Ethnographic Experience that I co-authored. It's written for academics who are seeking alternative methods for doing and representing fieldwork. The book might also appeal to people who are interested in audio documentary or non-fiction audio storytelling more generally.

Finally, I recently signed a contract to write a book about punk basement/house shows, which is an important part of the DIY scene in the US. I hope to have it done by next autumn for a spring release. I should add that if anyone reading this has been involved in DIY touring (punk, indie rock especially) in the US (although other countries can help me gain a broader perspective), please PM me if you'd be up for an interview.

wingco has written quite a few more books than the two mentioned at the start. There's the collection of England match reports that started out life here, for one, and there's even a book about Eminem. I'm sure there's more than that too.

G-Man has written at least one book (I think probably a few ore than one) as well.
