Prince suffered from the 'Stevie Wonder Syndrome' (minus collaborations) on that one. Keeping Wonderwall from top spot was in hindsight Robson and Jerome's only redeeming feature.

I hated Robson and Jerome but i do enjoy Jerome playing Bronn, the sellsword, in Game of Thrones. Wonderwall is not a favourite of mine but i think i would prefer that at the top spot than some cover of White Cliffs of Dover or whatever abomination they had out at the time.

As for Prince and Stevie Wonder's number ones. I would say that Prince had the better song by quite some distance.

        Undoubtedly.

Incredulously, I Just Called To Say I love You is the 13th biggest selling single of all time in the UK (around 1.8m copies sold).
