I dunno, there must be millions of music fans who don't like any of those bands. Metalheads, hip-hop types, reggae exclusivists, the classical-only crowd. Indeed, I suspect my son hates them, on the grounds that there's never a drop in any of their songs. (That's the bit in a dubstep song where it starts going WUUUUB-wub-wub-wub-wub-wub.) I know he hates Abba and the Beatles; I'll do the Crowded House experiment this evening if I remember.

I really like the Zombies, which is odd since apart from the Beach Boys and a handful of US garage bands I hardly listen to any 60s music at all. The Zombies are really wonderful though.
