For the last couple of weeks the Guardian's "Politics Weekly" podcast has kicked off with an ad for MI5, suggesting that people who liked spending time on their own, listening to hours and hours of tedious and meaningless chatter to pick out some interesting and useful information would be ideal candidates for work in the intelligence services.
I mean you can't deny their ability to target the right people, but it was a desperately weird ad. (I mean anyone who sit through that uber-bore Michael White clearly has an ability to listen to rubbish without peer)
