No-one cares: India - England ODIs
Martin Johnson said that Keith Fletcher's job as England coach in India seemed to involve mostly having to decide between the words "pathetic" and "crap".
Free entry at the Pakistan-Sri Lanka match. Nonetheless, the atmosphere is about as lively as Gloucestershire playing a championship match at Bristol in May.

The collapse of the Dubai economy has to have had a serious negative impact on these matches. Quite a few of the people from the subcontinent who used to go have left due to the lack of work, while those that remain are terrified of taking a day off for cricket lest they lose their jobs.

My understanding is that they got decent crowds in Sharjah at the peak of the weekly (or at least it seemed like that) IndoPak ODIs, and that they also drew decent crowds in Dubai during the boom, but I don't have the stats to back that up.
India is the only country that I could see drawing more than risible crowds to a test match in Dubai right now, given that there remains a significant population of Indians who are still doing reasonably well.

No, most of them probably wouldn't.
My sister and five of my bestest friends were at the ODI in Mumbai on Sunday. They probably constituted the bulk of England's support - the Barmy Army are proper Test-match purists.
