Still, it wouldn't have affected the dramatic outcome in the end (Europe would still, as massive underdogs, have won 14 1/2 - 13 1/2).
Well done to the European ladies, especially as after three successive quite comfortable wins for America this was in danger of becoming a bit of a sideshow. It won't be, now, the next time it's played in America.
