Saw this at the weekend. Gosh but Jeff Bridges is good. The young girl, Hailee Stansfield, is exceptional and Matt Damon does his best with a well written part.
It was difficult at times to get the JW version of Rooster Cogburn out of your head but Bridges brought a real grace and dignity, indeed a sense at times of The Dude, to the part.
It's a beautiful looking film too and the music was pitch perfect. Go see.
