Seems like a worthy winner. People who organise non-violent protests against oppressive regimes ought to win the NPP every year in my opinion.

Has it been announced today, then? I am currently stuck in your favourite windowless flughaven (I sort of see what you mean about the place, btw).
The International Herald Tribune has a small report in today's paper that says that a group of overseas chinese dissidents yesterday wrote to teh Nobel Cttee saying Liu "maligned fellow activists, abandoned persecuted members of the Falung Gong movement and going soft on Chinese leaders". I assume they themselves are FG, but can't tell. -
