    The WTF? Thread

Much of China's internet traffic yesterday was directed to a block of IP addresses registered to a shadowy company based out of a small house in Wyoming.

Have we seen this letter to the editor of the WSJ?

Regarding your editorial "Censors on Campus" (Jan. 18): Writing from the epicenter of progressive thought, San Francisco, I would call attention to the parallels of fascist Nazi Germany to its war on its "one percent," namely its Jews, to the progressive war on the American one percent, namely the "rich."

I liked one of the comments though:
Yeah, I can see the parallels, given the current administration's hatred of women's rights, racial equality, and socialists, and the recent expulsion of rich people from the country. The gangs of liberals wandering around and beating up rich people, and the terrifying favoritism the poor currently enjoy when it come to interaction with law enforcement should be another tipoff. Why, the wealthy know that they can't depend on help for the police and often are subject of cop harassment... Oh. Wait.

The location of that incident happens to be in the Fulda Gap, where NATO expected the Soviet tanks to come rushing though if the Cold War ever turned hot.

Reportedly two years maximum, though I don't think that anyone else convicted so far has gotten the maximum.

That's the maximum? Seems like a bit of a slap on the wrist, but I'm not sure what I really expected.

I suppose the rats wouldn't be on the ship to begin with if there weren't food to be had.

Like in so many other walks of life: blame Canada.

But like Bored says, it's probably sunk, on the balance of evidence.
