    London Film Festival

I'm considering going to the London Film Festival this year. The website isn't very informative so I'm hoping OTF can come to the rescue again. Do they do season tickets were you pay a set price for an unlimited amount of films? If not, how hard are tickets to come by and is it possible to pay a premium for priority booking? I presume ticket prices are £8 to £10 except for galas, is that right?

I've sent off the postal booking forms for 36 films over the festival, hopefully it gets there in time. Anyone else planning on going to a few films? Really hoping I get tickets for Uncle Boonmee, I Wish I Knew and the restored version of Pandora's Box.

Uncle Boonmee is very good. If you don't end up getting that ticket, it should at least hit video rental stores near you, if not theaters.

Thanks for saving me from a nil. Now that I see that it is opening in the UK (and presumably Ireland, the IFI wouldn't pass up on the Palme D'Or winner, would they?) on the 19th November I'm no longer too bothered whether I get to the Festival screening or not. Where did you see it linus?

Cheers Ek. Uncle Boonmee screened at the International Film Fest in Montreal a few months ago, and I've been covering film for a local radio station for the past two years.

"I wish I Knew" looks pretty interesting, hope your ticket for that comes through. Please do report on any interesting screenings you end up making.

Is your show streamed online or as a podcast? I'd definitely give it a listen if it was.

There seems to be an issue with the postal booking I made so I ended up booking online. Unfortunately Uncle Boonmee is gone (as is Cold Weather and Black Swan) but it does mean I can see Meek's Cutoff which got rave reviews in Toronto.

If anyone is thinking of getting tickets I would advise them to get cracking soon, a few shows already sold out and a lot of screenings that I booked had very low availability judging by the seating charts.

A full list of what I've got tickets for:
            Blessed Events
            Pandora's Box
            Ruhr
            Silent Souls
