8 - Gary Wales is Scottish, but I don't think he's been capped, so it must be someone else.

True - I'm trying to recall the surnames now:

                        Philip (Parkes)
                        David (Clement)
                        Terry (Mancini?)
                        Frank (McLintock)
                        Donald (Givens)
                        Stanley (Bowles)
                        Gerry (Francis)

I'm stuck on Anthony, Gordon, Stephen and James.

Colin Miles was known as Colin Pluck until about 2004, but changed his name. Presumably Izzet did something similar?

Muzzy Izzet was originally Mustafa Izzet but changed his name. It's not that, is it?

And I didn't know that about Colin Pluck/Miles. Farnborough had Lee Pluck/Miles (presumably his brother). Wonder what happened that the entire family changed their surname?

Still no answer for 2? The keeper is not first choice, but is very well known.

Both Izzet and Miles changed their name bu deed poll. Miles from Pluck, Muzzy from Mustafa.

Gary Wales has not played for Scotland, no.

                                              That's the one.

Wales did play for Scotland, but it was Hugh Wales, against Wales in the 1930s.
