Who says honesty is the best policy?

    http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2009/12/16/overpaid-1-4million-but-he-gave-it-all-back-115875-21900592/

It was back in the Co-op account within 12 hours of the error and, as a reward, his line manager gave Stephen a crate of Budweiser.
What an ungrateful bunch of bastards!

Nothing says 'I hate you' like a case of American swill.

Decent of them to print the "14,000 a year with girlfriend and child" bit, so you could see that keeping the money wouldn't have been that wrong.

C'mon Guy, that link also says the store plan to give him a bonus! I doubt the line manager has authority to do any more than give him the beer.

I refer to the last two posters to the last word in the quotes in my post, and to WOM's contribution.

He makes a fair point there. Why not Pilsner Urquell?
