    OTF archive

Has it gone for good? Used to be at:

    http://archive.onetouchfootball.com/...ltimatebb.cgi?

I realize all online things must pass, but it would be a shame to lose years of OTF, and some classic threads.

Ah, that might have been killed when we got hacked. I'll contact Latitude and check.

        What was the outcome?

Indeed - I only discovered this yesterday when attempting to access a thread from yore.

Confirmed with the hosts - it got wiped in the hack unfortunately. I don't know if the Wayback Machine managed to salvage any of it.

Not sure how functional it is but looks ok from a glance.

Looks upsettingly like it's only saved the next page down, i.e. the most recent thread titles within each forum, and none of the content within.

                  Shame.

Looks like you get to the "World" threads list but no further.

Edit - yeah like you said.

Yeah, I'm sorry about that. Nothing could really be done. Once the site was compromised, the entire server had to be treated as compromised. Unfortunately it was holding that old old old OTF in the background.

Shit, I just noticed this. Bugger, I was after a classic.

Oh damn, that's valuable OTF history obliterated. Too bad.

Trust me, I don’t feel good about it.

Indeed, SP, that wasn't meant to be a reproach at all - just a melancholic observational reflection. You've done wonders on here transferring the whole kit and caboodle, far beyond the call of duty. In some ways, it's a bit of a relief that many of my posts have been expunged for eternity. When I start to repeat myself in coming years, no one will be able to say, 'Hey, imp, you already told us back in January 2006 about your rare Rancid Horse-Crap live at the Fuckity Club 1977 bootleg cassettes, and no one gave a fuck back then either.'
