83 year-old woman has fall at home

    And fractures her arm.

At this age, a fall isn't good news, is it?

(She's been kept in hospital overnight for observation. Again, not a hopeful sign.)

I know. My father had a fall in hospital a couple of weeks back. Still, he's only 75...

A broken arm is not so dangerous because the patient can sit upright.

Broken hips kill one in five, because they are forced to lie flat and that tends to lead to pneumonia.

We don't want Thatcher dying during the close season . . .

Better in late July or early to mid August as a larger proportion of those who would pay tribute will be on holiday somewhere else.

It's horrible when they fall and cut their knee or shin or something. Their skin is so thin that they seem to bleed so much more quickly.

She's in overnight, so MRSA is always a possibility.

                Who are "they", morgan?

'We' in a terrifyingly short time, I suppose.

Have I got time to get the champagne really cold?

At the same time, her contemporary fellow cunt from America jumps out of aeroplanes, and the only injury he sustains is a dishevelled toupé.

Doctors at the Chelsea and Westminster hospital had planned to release her after treatment today but changed their mind, the spokeswoman said.

"The hospital's decided, just to be sure, to keep her in for observation. It's a simple fracture, but bearing in mind who she is, she's 83 and the shock to the system, it's just belt and braces."

Being 83 and the shock to the system I get, but "bearing in mind who she is"? What's that supposed to mean?

It means the overnight staff get to keep shouting her and scaring her in her sleep for shits and giggles.

She's got her own wing in that hospital, if it's the one I walked past in my lunchbreak once. There's something horribly funny about a building with "The Margaret Thatcher Infirmary" emblazed across it.
