Greggs has only gone and changed the recipe for their sausage and bean melt back to the original one.

The previous abomination, falsely masquerading under the 'sausage and bean melt' banner, was one of the worst things I have ever eaten.

But in a heart-warming example of popular protest changing things for the good, Mr Greggs has seen fit to return to the original, cheesey, beany, sausagey wonder-pasty of old.

Three cheers for that.

Incidentally, their Cornish pasties (or whatever Non-EC offending name they've got this week) have gone right off. Perhaps it was the strain of getting the sausage and bean back right.

Talking of Cornish Pasties where can you get a good one in London. Those pie chains that you see everywhere (can't remember the name but they're in all the train stations) their pasties taste like cardboard. The best Cornish Pasties to be had are right here in California at the King's Head Pub.
