An impressive haul indeed, one that we could have done with one bored afternoon on a rain-wrecked cricket tour in Brighton a few years ago, when one of our team invented a 'pound shop game', in which we each had three minutes to dash out of the hotel into the Pound Shop next door, buy something and then leave our goods out for the hotel receptionist to judge which was the best value. Oddly, my rather prosaic mug tree won, and it still sits proudly in my kitchen.
Bright light. Smooth opening/closing mechanism. Comes with batteries.
Astoundingly, this can be manufactured, shipped from China, retailed...and everyone makes a bit of money, all for one dollar Cdn.
Is this official OTF pound shop challenge thread then?
One item for a pound, photograph it and stick it up here. Best one wins... er... a pound.
I'll sort something out on Saturday...
Once the snow has cleared, I had a find in my local Poundland on Christmas Eve that will trump you all (and they had millions of the bastards, and they'll never sell out).
Kowalski, you live around the locale of Bangor don't you? Or is it Llandudno you live in but support Bangor City?
The reason I ask is 'cos I am currently residing in Bangor at university and have somehow never been to see the blues play despite being in my third year. My pre-univeristy pledge to follow their fortunes has failed miserably.
Anyway, I realise this isn't a football thread so instead I shall have to endeavour to see what I can nab from one of the pound shops in Bangor. Oh yes, there are several.
