young pretenders Austria put in their place.

The Irish health board was prevented from taking the Roscommon kids into care in 2000 because this wretched mother managed to get an injunction against them, helped considerably by the logistical efforts of a right-wing Catholic lunatic named Mina Cribben.

Mina Cribben is a seasoned veteran of the Irish culture wars and ran a lengthy campaign against contraception in the 1970s.

Mina Cribben's anti-contraception and abortion campaign was a standby for the student debating societies when I was at Dublin Uni. I secretly admired her nerve, actually; usually defending a minority of one against the massed ranks of baby barristers.
