Somerset's premier cider is now rapidly spreading across our part of Lancashire on draft, replacing the ubiquitous Strongbow.
Heaven. Not only does it actually taste of apples, unlike its mass-marketed rival, but it's 0.5% ABV stronger, and in many pubs cheaper, to boot (possibly because of some introductory promo offer to the breweries, but we'll see).
I think I'm in love with this pint like hobbes is with Stella Artois. And I never thought anything with the name "Thatcher" could catch on in the UK, ever again. Fair play to them for bravely sticking with the name.
