All a bit chaotically last minute, but it looks like I'll be at a bit of a loose end in London early doors on Thursday, so I thought I'd reprise last week's call for pints and a chance to put more usernames to faces.
By early doors I mean early evening, of course. Obviously I don't hang around pubs in the early hours of the morning, and anyone who says I do is a liar.
The Lamb seemed to be good for most people last week, and it has the advantage that I know where it is*, so to prevent an extended discourse on suitable locations, why not just let's make it The Lamb.
Once again apologies for the last-minute nature of this call possibly making it difficult for some people to make plans, but in the grand scheme it doesn't really matter, because I'll be there no matter who else turns up, gazing pensively into the middle-distance with a worn expression as I contemplate the impending approach of my fifth decade.
I'll be there about 7-ish but won't be staying all night, as later in the evening I plan to stagger forlornly around the streets asking strangers where my life went.
