      Crikey. Good luck.

Don't forget - something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.

For the last one, I recommend raspberry falvoured Slush Puppie.

Personally I prefer cherry flavour, but raspberry is more traditional.

          Holy Crap....

I this was going to be a thread about my sister's driving. She should get a job as a taxi driver in NYC. I still feel queasy.

Congrats, Scouseroo! Have a wonderful day.

One hour to go! And if you're reading this at this very moment, Scouser, you're a very sick man.

All power to you and your meia laranja.

                      Holy Crap....

Now hang on SR - there's nothing in Scouseroo's post there that confirms 'male' to me.

I'd love the idea of a bride-to-be posting something like that.

Erm, that "Gender=Male" icon looks pretty definitive to me.

                        And hearty congratulations to Scouseroo.

Ahh, I love weddings, me. Congratulations to you both. 6 hours past, now, so I guess you've got through the embarrassing best man's speech bit, and are now well into the section of the evening where the bride's Uncle George is arguing in a corner with the Groom's mate Dave over whether "O" levels were "harder in his day", the start of a simmering conflict that will end up in the car park.

                                    Holy Crap....

Well thank you all...I've now been a married man for 25 hours.

The day was pretty much perfect.

We booked Gladstone Park bowlo in Balmain, which is a beautiful spot, very quiet and relaxed.

The weather was perfect. Beautiful autumn day, not a cloud in the sky, temperature mid 20's....we couldn't have asked for better.

Got the ceremony out of the way, slight stress when the celebrant didn't arrive until 10 minutes before kick off - no speeches or any of that palaver (just the obligatory thank you for coming, the bar's over there, food is coming round, have fun etc etc)

The BBQ was fantastic, we had a cup-cake tower instead of the trad wedding cake - they were delicious. And of course being the bowlo instead of a band or disco people played barefoot bowls. Not to mention booze at (lower) bowling club prices.

It really did work out wonderfully - a very relaxed, casual and informal day. Just as we'd wanted it.

Not to mention the fact that the clocks went back last night so we got an extra hour added on to the wedding night.

Mr and Mrs Scouseroo are indeed very happy campers.

I was just going to say not as sad as posting on your honeymoon and then scrolled down.

Congrats Scouseroo. I hope you will enjoy many happy years together.

Oh no honeymoon (I'm back at work today) just a few days to relax, and spend some time with my folks who'd come down here to make sure I did the deed.

But I had a quick 5 minutes to get online and check footy results etc while the missus did the washing up
