You could try the Wayback Machine, but it takes a few months for them to put pages up.

Thanks GY - that's not quite the web-site I was thinking of, though.

I'm beginning to wonder if I've imagined it, but I'm sure I've seen certain blogs referring to slightly older versions of news stories on web-sites like The Guardian's, to highlight changes that have been made to the original published story.
