This is the same for all Music genre's be it Rock n Roll, Jazz and more recently Hip-Hop and RnB. The dominant society like it, they just don't like Black people doing it and will ease them out and then re-write history erasing them from it at the first opportunity.

The brother is 100% correct and articulates why a growing number of black people are not down with all this people of colour, minority, black and brown or BAME talk.
I am currently watching the TV series "Warrior". It is based in late 1800's San Francisco and captures the tensions between the Irish and the Chinese and how they were played against each other fighting from the crumbs flicked off the table by the ruling classes.

"Look at what it really means,” Mr. Ginsberg added. “A party that’s increasingly old and white whose base is a diminishing share of the population is conjuring up charges of fraud to erect barriers to voting for people it fears won’t support its candidates.”

In least surprising news of the day, UK police and media overemphasise black crime and downplay white crime giving a misleading impression of who is committing all the crime.

                              I read that elsewhere.

You have got to be severely fucked up to allow, into law, a car as a weapon to use with reasonable force.

The article also notes De Santis doing his anti-riot dogwhistling. These are all racist scum.

100 year anniversary since the Tulsa massacre.
Now according to a poster on OTF, this was a long time ago (i will not post his name but he is free to come on here and defend his words).

Anyway, I'll let the OTF historians tell the story.

I can't come close to doing it justice, in particular because It wasn't until I was doing an honours degree in American History of the period with what was supposed to be the leading faculty that I even was told of its existence, but I thought both of these pieces from the Atlantic were good

As was this multimedia piece from the NYT

                                    https://twitter.com/nytimes/status/1398730898837839874

There is much more and much more work to be done, and it is absolutely vital to keep in mind that there are more than a dozen state legislatures who are currently trying to make it illegal to teach about such atrocities in the public schools.

What kind of civilised country drags a 107 year old to Parliament to testify for an incident everyone (as in those who need to know, not the general public) knows about and what happened.

Thanks for the articles, there seems like alot of glossing over in these articles, especially the first one.
Little to no mention the reason, this took so long is that the initial attack on Greenwood was repulsed by the armed black residents who formed a militia to protect the neighbourhood and property.

It was only when the so-called mob returned with the assistance of police and the national guard, planes laden with bombs and a Gatling gun perched on a hill overlooking Greenwood strafing the town, the tide turned.

Also no mention the surviving pictures of the burnt out town are actually from commemorative postcard printed by the White supremacists posing in front of the carnage.
100 years later, the WS were sharing the commemorative snuff video of the live Murder of Ahmad Auberry. Show's how very little has actually changed.

I have also noticed modern TV programs inferring this was done by the KKK, when it clearly wasn't.
Little to mention the looting of the homes of the rich black people and especially of the black banks in that neighbourhood.

And for those of you who like to doubt what I am saying because I am calling out the mainstream media, Here is a picture of the said Gattling Gun as well as WS posing in front of it.

And as a bonus, tip, it's on a f*cking postcard.

It was part of a wider project of creating 'Sundown Towns', possibly 10,000 or more:

This was the ordinance in my local city (1942, Fort Myers, FL):

Hi Satchmo, A question regarding "Sundown Towns", what was the ultimate reason behind them, most towns and cities were already segregated at the point (formally and informally)?
