I say that as someone who grew up in the 80s; David Gilmour was always the chubby balding one who looked like a market gardener.
I fear you might be right. And I'm shocked that Helen Mirren as well was referenced. Someone needs to watch O Lucky Man! Especially since it's the most perfect 70s Britain film ever. Malcolm McDowell was never better.
