Kingspan were the gold standard for insurance risks where composite panels were used (food / refrigeration risks, for example). A reputation built on fraud.

Every single one of these cunts should be locked up. No exceptions.

Key lesson being knowing when to sell.

If there aren't any hangings* after this, I'll be very disappointed...

*Joke. But there needs to be a large number of prosecutions.

We’ll split the inquiry into two, lads. First bit attacks the fire service and the people who went to save lives, just in case anyone brings it up during the election.

and we’ll give you all plenty of time to cash out before anyone knows how you killed over 70’people

I only know two types of decking, treated wood and composite.

The treated wood is to resist mould and rot rather than fire and I am not sure what the fire rating of the composite decking is (some kind of hard plastic).

Apparently the insulation used in the tower burnt so ferociously in tests, that it almost burned down the laboratory.

The decking on the balconies in our apartment block are apparently not fire resistant or don't meet fire regulations, nobody is quite sure. What we know is that some mortgages have been turned down and flat sales have collapsed because the bank have refused to underwrite the mortgage.

Our management company has apartment replaced three of the balconies but not the others and isn't communicating with residents.
How can they put in Decking that isn't fire resistant, is that legal or was that put in after the building was finished?

I'll look it up online. Celotex is industruy standard for solid insulation for new and retrofitting into older properties.
I live in a Victorian house so clad the walls from the inside as these properties lose alot of heat (High ceilings, big windows and single skin brickwork). I have alot of other fire safety measures so it will be ok if there is a fire (as in smoke alarms, fire doors will give me time to make my escape).

The building regulations officer was round my house at various stages of the build to make sure I used the correct materials etc.

    Can you hear that?

That is the sound of thousands and millions of pounds of property and assets being quickly transferred to spouses and children.

If the directorships of these companies are not charged with - at the very least - corporate manslaughter, then I will be both incredibly angry and not-at-all surprised.

In February 2014, the company tested the RS5000 insulation – which was a simple rebranding of one its existing products - at the Building Research Establishment (BRE) testing facility. The test failed when flames reached the top of the nine-metre mock wall in 26 minutes.

He said that Phil Clarke, who worked for the BRE, suggested that it had failed due to cracking of the 8mm non-combustible cladding panels which had been installed in front of it and suggested using a thicker panel of 12mm to achieve a pass.

The team at Celotex then decided to also add in a fire resisting magnesium oxide boards within the wall to increase its chances of passing a retest. Mr Roper said this was done with the express knowledge of senior managers.

“Did that not strike you at the time as dishonest?” asked counsel to the inquiry Richard Millett.

“I went along with a lot of actions at Celotex that looking back on reflection were completely unethical,” replied Mr Roper. “I was 22/23, first job. I thought this was standard practice albeit this did sit very uncomfortably with me.”

He said he was “fully aware” that the test was being “overengineered to achieve a pass” and said he was “not in any doubt” that Mr Clarke of the BRE was aware of the plan to include the fire resisting board.
This is so shocking it needs to be told to everyone.

SEVENTY NINE PEOPLE BURNED TO DEATH because the company that did the testing told people how to get round the safety checks
