That's a right beating. Richard Harrington's letter doesn't pull any punches. Onto the Beckett amendment to prevent no-deal cliff edge tactics.

30 Tories voted against, and another minor minister (Brine, Health) resigned, so that's three tonight alone.

It makes no sense to pass Letwin but not Beckett.

Snell is a particularly ungrateful little prick, if not for Momentum bombarding Stoke Central with canvassers he could have lost his seat in the by-election and he’s been thumbing his nose at Corbyn ever since, despite going from 37 to 51 percent at the last election.

Beckett’s Labour, can’t be voting for something they propose.

Corbyn talking up a confirmatory public vote.

Speaker in a joust with the other David Davies, who deserved it. Edit - it was Greg Hands who got put down after Davies asked the question.

No one fronting up for the government.

Hope against hope, if there's one thing that comes out of this shitbath, it's the end of idea of the all powerful Crown manifesting itself in the Executive pissing over the rest of the Parliament that once passed for a Brit Constitution. Not optimistic but.

Watching and listening to Suella Braverman on Newsnight it's hard not to conclude that the ERG have overplayed their hand and have been out-manoeuvred in Parliament.

Uh-oh. There goes the rather unpleasant theory that it's Leavers that will be dying off in the next few years.
