There is now spin that a 150 vote defeat would be deemed a good result for May.

If they convert 50 Nos every time, they will only need four more Meaningful Votes . . .

            Government lose by 149 (apparently).

I don't see how a 149 vote defeat can be spun.

Vote on no deal goes ahead tomorrow (despite a lot of speculation), free vote for the Tories. Also speculation that government have been advised not to get to a vote on delay, in case it gets amended by the House to something the EU can't agree (edit though May has confirmed it is still the intention).

May's announced a free vote on no deal tomorrow followed by a vote on extension if needed. Corbyn still pushing his softer Brexit and calling for an election.

I don't think it's nailed on that all the EU members will allow A50 to be extended.

Brexit votes in Parliament are going to be like Apollo missions. Start with everyone glued, then gradually tuning out as interest fades. From 'We interrupt this programme' to 'And finally'.

The DUP want us to believe that they understand Brexit, yet in their statement they demonstrate that they can't even figure out how to change from the default Calibri font in MS Word.

Labour MPs who voted for May's deal: Barron, Flint and Mann.

Will May be hoping the EU reject the extension so it effectively forces the Commons to accept her deal to avoid a sudden 'no deal' by default?

Anna Soubry did her best, by sprinting straight out of the chamber and onto Channel 4 News to lay furious blame at the foot of the person she feels most responsible for this catastrofuck... Jeremy Corbyn!

suggests an election is likely- as does Watson getting his group together in some tandem with them

There would be a lot of Tory MPs campaigning on a platform they don't believe in (pro-Deal, anti-New Referendum). Very difficult to predict the result because the voters will often vote according to their view of the MP's stance rather than the party's stance. Some remainers will be chucked out (perhaps even Yvette Cooper as her constituency is gammon despite being normally safe Labour).

Maybe, but that's not the only possible outcome of no extension. Even without an extension, the UK can withdraw A50 unilaterally up until March 29 (and start all over again, if they want).

May still refusing to give in. The actual wording of the No Deal amendment "notes that No Deal is the default unless this House and the EU ratify an agreement". It doesn't mention second referendum or revoking Article 50.

Withdrawal would be hugely unpopular without a referendum.
