There is now spin that a 150 vote defeat would be deemed a good result for May.

Vote on no deal goes ahead tomorrow (despite a lot of speculation), free vote for the Tories. Also speculation that government have been advised not to get to a vote on delay, in case it gets amended by the House to something the EU can't agree (edit though May has confirmed it is still the intention).Last edited by Walt Flanagans Dog; 12-03-2019, 19:31.

It's true We are getting super sick of this bullshit.
Everyone take a moment out and perhaps keep arlene Foster in your thoughts and prayers. She's off to Washington for the presentation of the Shamrock to His great orangeness.

There would be a lot of Tory MPs campaigning on a platform they don't believe in (pro-Deal, anti-New Referendum). Very difficult to predict the result because the voters will often vote according to their view of the MP's stance rather than the party's stance. Some remainers will be chucked out (perhaps even Yvette Cooper as her constituency is gammon despite being normally safe Labour).Last edited by Satchmo Distel; 12-03-2019, 21:05.
