Fair play, you've properly filled in any gaps in spending plans there.

Well, I've read it back, and it does seem that LS and Tubby are saying that security of tenure and public libraries are impossible without the the Single Market.

      It's a view, I suppose.

Labour have a very good focus on buses that could transform them for probably not all that much money. But rail costs a lot of tax, if you want to make fares affordable.

Again, youse will be so broke as to make austerity look a laugh. Local govt will be decimated. Good luck with the libraries. Security of tenure, maybe, but no fucker will have a job to pay for private rents, and there will be no money for councils to build social housing. But good luck with your autarchy.

I'll ask again - what about security of tenure?

He's a shocker, but at least he's honest about the sort of EU he wants to move towards, politically indelicate though it might be. He also seems to have a tornado-themed vertical signature which probably backs up every negative thought that some people have ever held about him:

Blimey, there's going to be no jobs either! Not one! It's worse than I thought...

Ok enjoy 1980s levels of fuckedness outside the SM, which a Labour govt would prob get the blame for.... I don't understand the willingness to embrace economic collapse or at the least decay

Let alone how not being in the SM breach GFA, and leave Norn Irn on Fire (but Corbs still thinks he doesn't need the backstop). From Ireland, and from my (not rabid Nats) friends and family in Scotland, Labour's position seems a mixture of cowardice and stupidity.

I'll leave it to Berba to swear more eloquently at your loyalty to this Labour triangulation.

I'm not willing to embrace economic collapse - THAT'S WHY I CAMPAIGNED AGAINST BREXIT!!!!! For fuck's sake.

I'm afraid to say though, that positing that there won't be security of tenure or any jobs - not one, anywhere - gets us absolutely fucking nowhere, and is a bit typical of the whole debate around Brexit for about the last 5 years. It reminds me of this recent thread. https://twitter.com/AdrianYalland/st...12721204473862

This Labour triangulation is getting us very close to Remaining, or at least a 2nd referendum. We wouldn't have got anywhere near that if Labour had spent the last two years saying that nobody could sign a contract to guarantee their tenancy after Brexit. If Labour hadn't 'triangulated' (I don't agree with the phrase, but let's keep it for now), we'd have been well into the ERG-inspired relationship with the EU by now.

Obvs I never meant not one anywhere. But if your tax base is decimated by destroying the single market on services (there is no bespoke deal possible) cos of triangle shape dancing to appease racists I don't see how any social democracy (let's not pretend Corbyn offers real socialism) is possible. Anyways, I've bigger things on my mind tonight so fuck this.

THE LABOUR PARTY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REFERENDUM. IT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE AUSTERITY OF THE LAST 9 YEARS> IT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BREXIT> THERE IS NO MAJORITY IN PARLIAMENT FOR A SECOND REFERENDUM.

SO HOW IS THAT "REAL SOCIALISM" COMING ALONG IN IRELAND?

Fuck sake man, the main thing preventing any kind of socialism here is the Irish people. But not the fucking Single Market.

Jeez man, we really going with "he has girly middle names"? That's pretty common in Flanders.

And in Holy Ireland and all. I've known plenty of men with Maria as a middle name. Perhaps Ad Hoc could raise with Frankie Belgrano when he rocks up at Dracula's gaff.

Erm, no. It was his comments about a European army, and others, that I suggested that the Leave campaign would use, rather than the mildly amusing nature of one of his middle names. I just used it in the same way that OTFers sometimes use Boris Johnson's similarly grand full name. I know that political campaigning can become rather puerile but I wasn't suggesting that it would sink quite that low.

As you mention it though, the use of female names for Flemish males is news to me. Tell me more.
